Email Marketing Tips For Business : How To Build Your Email List Part 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpZ8qVfg3Yw Email Marketing Tips For Business : How To Build Your Email List Part 2. Get more tips by following @BlueSquareSEO. Check out our Blog at http://bluesquaremanagement.com/blog/ How To Build Your Email List Part Two: Super Squeeze Pages Email marketing is a very cheap way to generate sales for your local business as you can use your email list for successive marketing campaigns without going back to the drawing board to get new prospects. In our previous article, we tackled how to drive traffic to your squeeze page and in this article we will look at how to create a compelling squeeze page that gets people to sign up to your list. As you know, a squeeze page is designed specifically to get people to opt-in or sign up and there are some simple ways to increase your conversion rates. 1. No distractions- a common mistake is to try and put too much information on your squeeze page but this only distracts your prospects and lowers opt-in rates. The only information that should be there is a clear message for just the name and email address of the prospect in exchange for the free product/service you are offering. This is not the place to start putting ads or links. 2. Create a valuable product/service to give away for free to make people feel they are getting a good deal when they sign up. That free offer should offer amazing value in the eyes of the prospect. You can create a report, a video, a coupon or whatever suits your kind of business and budget. 3. Reverse squeeze page- you can use this technique that uses reverse psychology to get sign ups. Basically you offer the first part of your free offer directly to your prospect and then offer the second part if they sign up. This actually helps you filter your traffic to create a more targeted email list of potential buyers rather than mere window shoppers 4. Create a professional looking squeeze page. Choose clean and modern designs that don't look hyped up or phony as prospects will be suspicious about the credibility of your business. Contact us today for more information. Follow us @BlueSquareSEO or check out our website http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/facebook-for-business/ Do you know what a Facebook Business fan page is? As you may already know, Facebook is a social media network of hundreds of millions of users that log in daily. People set up personal accounts to log in and network with other users, or "friends". Businesses and organizations can create a business fan page where other Facebook users can "like" their business and become a fan. What exactly does this mean for you, as a small business owner? Your fans can see the information you post on your page, view your photos, and stay up to date on your latest company news, specials and latest offerings. Your Facebook Fans can also leave you reviews on your fan page, which is a great (and free) way to help boost your company's reputation online. Having a Facebook Business fan page allows you to easily network with your customers, and get your products and services in front of more people. With so many people using Facebook so frequently - the average user spends about an hour per day on Facebook - it has become a necessary part of any small business's marketing strategy to have a fan page. Having a Facebook business fan page is also a great way to improve your SEO ratings, and helps you get your business to the front page of search engines. The reason that having a fan page for your business on Facebook is so beneficial to your company is because it is an easy way to reach your target market if you know how to set it up correctly, and are constantly posting content and interacting with people. However, properly managing a fan page can be extremely time-consuming, especially for a busy small business owner who already has enough on their plate. And that's where we come in! We offer a wide array of services related to Facebook Fanpages for the small business owner. Everything from setup and optimization of your fanpage, to complete social media management campaigns. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsB2Dipk_KQ Mobile Website Design Agency in London Bromley Kent UK @BlueSquareSEO To learn more about mobile web design check out our website at http://bluesquaremanagement.com/mobile-marketing/mobile-website-design/ What is a mobile website? A mobile website is a website that is designed specifically for mobile phone and tablet users. If you have ever accessed web pages from a smart phone or tablet, you may have noticed that some websites are difficult to navigate, visually unappealing, and take a ridiculous amount of time to load on your device, while on your desktop or laptop computer they work just fine. This is because these sites have not been optimized for mobile viewing! 55% of the world's 6 billion mobile phone owners have smart phones, and 45% of those smartphone owners say that they use their phone over a laptop or desktop computer when searching for products and services. What does this mean for you as a business owner with a website? It means that if your website does not also have a mobile optimized version, you could be losing business to your competitors who have sites that are more easily navigable for mobile phone users. A mobile website can be created from your existing website, or you could even have a brand new website designed for you that also includes a mobile optimized version. With so many people using smart phones these days, it has become necessary for the success of your business to have a website that is mobile optimized. However, setting up a mobile optimized version of your website can be a daunting task, and is a job better left for the professionals. And thats where we come in! Email Marketing Tips For Small Businesses : How To Build Your Local Business Email List Part 1

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pXviCYCK8M Email Marketing Tips For Small Businesses. Discover how to build your email list for your local business. Find out more about internet marketing @BlueSquareSEO and http://bluesquaremanagement.com How To Build Your Local Business Email List: Part One- Driving In Traffic An email list is a great way to create a continuous stream of income for your local business because you can automatically communicate with a targeted list of people over and over again without starting the whole sales process from scratch. But how exactly does one build that coveted email list? First one needs to drive traffic to your squeeze page and secondly one needs to get them to sign up on that squeeze page. Here are ways to drive traffic to your squeeze page: 1. Social media- you can drive your Twitter and Facebook followers to your squeeze page through your tweets or your business's fanpage. The wonderful thing about generating leads this way is that your followers can help you drive even more traffic for free due to the viral nature of social media. 2. Article Marketing- this free method works by submitting articles related to your business to article directories and providing a link to your squeeze page through the author resource box or through anchor text links. 3. Video Marketing- uploaded videos on YouTube or other video sharing sites should have links that direct people to your squeeze page 4. Pay per click -- if you can afford it, this is a very quick way to drive traffic to your squeeze page. You can place ads on search engines, social media sites or specific websites that have high levels of traffic in your target market. 5. Affiliate traffic- you can sign up affiliates who will do the work of driving traffic to your squeeze page in exchange for a fee per signup. You obviously have to consider the cost to benefit ratio before you use this method. Having driven traffic to your squeeze page, it is now time to persuade people to sign up. How to do that is covered in our next article, "How To Build Your Local Business Email List: Part Two- Super Squeeze Pages" Contact us today for more information. What Is SEO and SEO Marketing?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsYaTl_3e5A What is SEO? In this short video you will discover how SEO can help your business. http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/what-is-seo-search-engine-optimisation/ So, what is SEO? SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, and it is a technique used to get your website recognized on search engines and maximize traffic to your site. Search engines use several complicated algorithms to figure out which pages they will display in the results of a search. These algorithms recognize different "ranking factors" when they deliver results to someone searching for something on the web. If you want your business to show up in the search results when someone is searching for the things that you offer, there are many things that your website needs to contain. Some of the factors that search engines look into when ranking a page for a certain key word are the quality of a page's content, relevant HTML tags, and if the words on the page are relevant to what one is searching for. There are many other factors, some much more complicated, that search engines use to determine whether or not a certain web page will appear in the top results for a search. The thing is, if you have a website, search results matter. When you have higher rankings in a search engine, more people find your website which means more people find your business. This means you are reaching a bigger audience and gaining more customers. It is very important to have your website properly optimized so that search engines know how to direct people to your site. Optimizing a website properly can be a very challenging process if you are not well versed in how search engines work. It takes time, and an in depth knowledge of Search Engine Optimization to set up your site properly so that people will find your business. Hiring a professional SEO agency for SEO ensures that your site will be properly optimized, saving you valuable time and money. Learn more here http://bluesquaremanagement.com/online-video-marketing/ 8 ways to optimize your local business videos Video marketing is a powerful medium to use to market your local business, especially if your products or services are best represented in an audio-visual manner. For example, a landscaping business would find videos as the best way to show a garden makeover compared to using an article or report. However video marketing should also be geared to please search engines so that your videos achieve higher search engine rankings. Here are 8 important ways to optimize your videos on a video sharing site and on your business website. 1. Title-use your business's primary keyword in the title of your video. SEO Tips For Small Business : Keyword Research 4 Reasons To Choose The Right Keywords

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lirlvnQLKnM SEO Tips For Small Business : Keyword Research 4 Reasons To Choose The Right Keywords. http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/ 4 Reasons to Choose the Right Keywords for Your Local Business A common mistake business owners make when choosing keywords is adopting a hit and miss technique. They don't really take time to research for the right keywords that will make the difference between the success or failure of their websites. It is no surprise therefore that 95% of people who try to make money online fail in their efforts. Here are 4 important reasons to choose the best keywords for your business: 1. Quality traffic. The right keywords will bring your site the right sort of traffic which is people who are searching for exactly the same information that your website is all about. You would rather have relevant traffic of 500 people per day than a chaotic and irrelevant crowd of 5000 people. 2. Moderate competition. The best keywords to choose are those that give your business a high chance of ranking highly in search engines against fewer websites. By using the right combination of keywords you will be able to compete successfully with other business owners in your niche. The right keywords will also enable your business to bid on Adwords at affordable prices. This does not mean we want keywords with absolutely no competition, because that means there is no business market in that field. A low to moderate level of competition is healthy to your business. 3. High traffic. Only about 10% of all keywords have high levels of traffic so it's critical to choose keywords that are actually going to generate traffic. There is nothing as disappointing to a business owner than investing so much time and effort to create and optimize a website and then have very little traffic. The right keywords generate organic traffic from searches and links. 4. Profit. The right keywords have a strong money-making potential while the wrong ones have a poor cost to benefit ratio. Targeting profitable keywords will generate greater income for your local business. SEO Tips For Small Business : What Is Back Linking? | SEO in Bromley London Kent UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXIvlhHyzqk SEO Tips For Small Business : What Is Back Linking? You can learn more what SEO is and how it can benefit your business here http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/what-is-seo-search-engine-optimisation/ What Is Backlinking, and How Can It Help Your Business? Using SEO techniques to improve your page rank is the top way to get your business noticed. Backlinking is a very important part of search engine optimization -- and, while it is time consuming work, backlinking tells Google how popular your business site is. The more popular Google believes your site to be, the higher page rank you will have. I can hear you now - "Huh? Run that by me again?" Let's break some things down into parts, so you'll have a better understanding of what your SEO professional is talking about when he or she talks to you about improving your presence on the internet. Backlinks, also known as incoming links or inbound links, are links that come into your site. These are built into other sites, pages, articles, or blogs. While you might occasionally get a backlink from a satisfied customer who is talking about what a great experience they had with your business, in THEIR blog, that is just not going to happen enough to make a difference to Google. Remember, the internet is growing exponentially every day. How do you get backlinks, if not by accident? Your SEO professional builds them for you by using hyperlinks and high quality, relevant anchor text on pages that link to your website. Article Marketing is one way to build credible backlinks. While you might be tempted to write all your articles yourself, and post them as they are on sites like ezinearticles, ehow, or about.com, it is wisest to leave the article marketing to the pros. Effective article marketing requires specific keywords as well as a specific percent of keyword density (2%-3%). While the articles about your business or product need to be useful and informative, they also need to be engineered properly. Page Rank is Google's way of telling consumers which sites are best. You want your business to rank well in several different searches related to the product or service you are offering. Say you sell pre-owned cars in San Diego. You want to rank well in searches like "pre owned cars san diego", "used cars san diego", "san diego used cars", san diego pre owned autos" and so on. While these terms may seem ridiculously redundant to you, covering all the bases can help get your site a higher page rank. SEO marketing professionals have the fine art of page rank down to a science -- just one more reason you need to work with a professional if you're not doing so already. Once effective backlinking has been put into place, your business will enjoy a higher Google page rank, and receive more internet traffic. In turn, more potential customers will know you're out there, and they will use your business simply because it was easy to find on the internet. What Is Social Media Marketing : How Your Business Can Benefit From Social Media Marketing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zYyt2K1wRo What is Social Media Marketing? How Small Business Owners Can Benefit From Social Media Marketing http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/what-is-social-media/ Social media marketing is an approach to marketing that uses social media outlets like facebook, twitter, foursquare and others in an attempt to promote a change in people's behaviors so as to encourage in some way the betterment of the individual or of society, as well as the betterment of the business atmosphere through a feeling of interconnectedness. The same methods used in conventional commercial marketing are used in social media marketing -- but with a twist -- the end-goal is often to benefit the person or society as a whole in addition to the organization that is doing the marketing. Social media marketers attempt to influence a social change in the business atmosphere in several ways. They use specific call to action marketing methods, and they offer rewards to those who want to participate. Let's pretend we're talking about a company that wants to reward customers and spread a social message at the same time. That company may try to make a change by: • Changing internal attitudes (e.g. educate about the harm of cigarettes to convince people to stop smoking for their own personal safety) while offering rewards like a gym membership free for a month with proof from a witness that smoking has ceased. • Removing the need for the individual to change or to convince them to stop using a product in the first place (e.g. creating a 100% safer cigarette, a cigarette substitute, or a medical protocol that will cease the urge to smoke). As you can see, the two examples provided are very different. The gym wants clients, and they want to promote better health. The cigarette substitute marketer understands people like to smoke and wants to give them a (we hope) healthier alternative. Some examples of how social media marketing is used include: • requesting that people not smoke in public areas (All kinds of businesses can promote non-smoking and offer rewards that can help people quit) • convincing people to obey speed limits (Police departments and school systems like to give messages like this) • encouraging the use of contraceptives (Public health messages) • encouraging people to come try a new product, or sign up for a trial service (any business could use this!) Social media marketing combines a mix of traditional marketing principles that include the "four Ps" of marketing. These are: 1. Product: Ranging from tangible products to intangible ideas. 2. Price: What the consumer needs to do in order to obtain the social marketing product. 3. Place: The way that the product reaches the consumer. 4. Promotion: Using advertising, public relations, promotions, media advocacy, personal selling and entertainment vehicle to create and sustain demand for the product. In addition, some social media marketers add four additional "Ps" to contribute to a successful program (this applies particularly to nonprofits): 1. Publics: External and internal groups involved in the process/target and secondary audiences, staff, supervisors of program. 2. Partnership: Organizations and audiences with similar goals. 3. Policy: Advocating change in social policies to precipitate and encourage changes. 4. Pursestrings: Discovering funding (corporate sponsors, state grants, etc.) for the program. According to a 20-page publication published by Turning Point designed to help people apply effective social marketing to their public health programs and practices, the following table summarized exactly what social marketing is ... and what it is not: Social Media Marketing IS: • A social or behavior change strategy • Most effective when it activates people • Designed for those who have a reason to care and who are ready for change • Strategic, and requires efficient use of resources • Integrated, and works on the "installment plan" Social Media Marketing IS NOT: • Just advertising • A clever slogan or messaging strategy • Reaching everyone through a media blitz • An image campaign • Done in a vacuum • A quick process Behavior-induced change is not easy -- and the proof of the pudding is to ascertain whether your marketing plan made a difference. If your target audience in fact is engaging in the desired performance, then you have succeeded in your endeavor. If you can establish a cause-and-effect relationship between your social media marketing program and changes in the buying behavior of your clients or the action your nonprofit's participants take, then you have succeeded. What is SEO Understanding Search Engine Optimization For Business | SEO in Bromley Kent London UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1DH-zms7-8 What is SEO Understanding Search Engine Optimization For Business. http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/small-business-seo/ This video helps businesses understand what SEO is about. Understanding Search Engine Optimization: What Is It? SEO or Search Engine Optimization is a growing marketing tool designed to improve the visibility of a website through search results. Ultimately, an enhanced web presence can increase traffic and increase sales. What SEO Does SEO takes into account how different search engines work and what people are searching for. Optimizing your website may involve editing coding and content to increase its relevance in specific search engines. These tactics are accepted by the various number of search engines. There are other tactics used to increase traffic to our website that are less accepted. The other tactics are known as Black Hat SEO techniques. Black Hat SEO is another technique that uses methods such as keyword stuffing, article spinning and link farms that degrade the relevance of the results and the end user-experience of the search engines. At one time, this was a good way to increase rank. Today, search engines look for sites that use these tactics and remove them from their search lists. It is wise to use only accepted methods so your website will not be removed from search lists, because if they're removed, your results will be the opposite of what you wanted! SEO Consulting: The Easiest Way To Get Results There are numerous consultants that offer both SEO techniques. The prices and tactics they use will vary. Be sure to do your research before choosing a company to work with and make sure you are aware of what services you are buying. A business that relies only on search engine traffic can come up short when the search engine stops sending visitors. When coupled with other successful marketing strategies search engine traffic can add to a business to make it successful -- just one more reason a seasoned consultant or consulting firm is a sound investment. SEO can be a very useful tool to market your business on the web when done correctly. Your business is made more visible and more traffic via the internet as well as you storefront is likely. With search engine optimization you can market your business to a wide audience. You can decide how much or how little you want to spend on this marketing investment. Do your research and watch the traffic increase to your website today! Video Marketing Tips For Small Businesses : Three Reasons Why Video Marketing Fails

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VuYRq7k0m0M Video Marketing Tips For Small Businesses : Three Reasons Why Video Marketing Fails http://bluesquaremanagement.com/online-video-marketing/ Three Reasons Video Marketing Fails: Don't Make These Mistakes! Video marketing is super hot, and everyone wants a piece of the pie. Chances are, you have been subjected to video marketing yourself -- some good, and some terrible. As you are planning your own video marketing campaign, set yourself up for success -- not abject failure! Here are three top reasons video marketing campaigns fail to work as intended. Reason #3: Your Video Is Long and Boring Why in the world would anyone want to voluntarily sit through ten minutes worth of someone droning on about whatever it is that he or she is (quite obviously) trying to sell? And, why would that same beleaguered viewer want to pass a long, boring video on to a friends? Keep your video marketing campaign interesting. Get to the point. Finish up in three minutes or less. Create interest and curiosity. A long, boring video will tank, every time. Reason #2: Poor Quality If your video is hard to see, or is headache inducing due to a poor picture, people will leave. It doesn't matter how funny it is, how great your message is, or how good a job you've done with marketing it. Be sure your video looks good, and that people can hear the message you are trying to convey. Reason #1: Your Video Is Nothing Special Ouch! Don't take it personally if your first few attempts at creating a video don't get you the kind of results you're looking for. Here are some things to remember that will make producing an effective video marketing campaign just a bit easier: • There are a zillion videos out there on the internet. Which ones are getting views? A new video that doesn't convey a passionate message in an entertaining way is just not going to be watched and shared. • Before you start, take some time to look at what others are doing. What appeals to you? What doesn't? Why? • Use what you have learned to create something special and unique, and let your marketing specialist help you with this process. Don't be afraid to step out of the box! We live in an age where fun and creativity are king. Remember: You want your video marketing campaign to be enjoyed and shared. Have fun with the process, and your business will benefit in remarkable ways. Social Media Marketing For Business : How To Take Social Media To A New Level

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnSZiUJf228 Social Media Marketing For Business : How To Take Social Media To A New Level http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/ Take Social Media Marketing To A New Level If yours is among the many small businesses that has taken advantage of everything social media marketing has to offer, then you might find yourself struggling to keep up at times. You might wish you had more hours in the day to accomplish everything you need to do plus stay on top of all the latest social media marketing trends. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnSZiUJf228 The Problem: Keep Up With Demands Just about two short years ago, social media marketing was a bit less complicated than it is now. Business owners felt they could manage everyday tasks plus keep up with their Twitter feeds and Facebook fan pages. Since social media has enjoyed such a boom, there are a lot more options for monetizing as well as expanding marketing opportunities. If you're trying to do it on your own, you're very likely feeling completely overwhelmed. You know social media marketing is important, and there is no way you could (or should!) cut it out of the picture. The question is, how can you take advantage of everything social media marketing has to offer, while running your business and living your life? If you are one of the millions of people who stay up until the wee hours administering a social media marketing campaign, getting a few hours of sleep, spending all day running the business, and burning yourself out completely in the process, then you need an answer -- and you need it fast. The Solution: Delegate If you are tired of burning the candle at both ends, it's time to do something about it. Hiring a company or individual who specializes in handling social media marketing for businesses can give you back some of those precious hours - last time I counted, there were still only twenty four of them in a day. By letting someone else wade through the heaps of information, manage your fans, friends, and tweets, upload your videos, and keep your blog moving, you can take back the hours you need to replenish yourself and truly enjoy your life more. An added bonus: Using a firm that specializes in SEO and social media marketing can help your business grow in a whole new direction. Making this one simple change in the way you do business can make a difference in your company's outlook -- as well as your own! Learn How To Grow Your Business Fast With Social Media Marketing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lXuyu8g61o Learn How To Grow Your Business Fast With Social Media Marketing http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/ Call us on 01689 602 248 for your Social Marketing needs. The Secret To Growing Your Business -- Fast! There must be some reason why some small businesses outperform others. Let's pretend for just a minute that you own a small café in a part of town that is just about two blocks off the beaten path. Lunchtime crowds could be a lot bigger! You've noticed that your competition, who has higher prices and worse white bean chicken chili than you, and who is a whopping four blocks off the beaten path of the lunch time warriors has a steady stream of customers. Why? Stop wringing your hands. You're about to find out. Social Media Marketing: What It Can Do For You Social media marketing translates to success. A successful social media marketing campaign can take your little bistro from barely making payroll to a booming success. It can move you from the back lot to the spotlight. "But" you might say, "I'm a bistro. How can social media marketing do all that for me? You people are crazy! I have soup to make. See ya later!" As astonishing as this might seem, and as offbeat as some of the most successful social media marketing campaigns are, they work. Stick with me, soupy sales, here's why! Social media marketing gives you the power to reach out to your customers any time of night or day. Let's say it's 10 a.m. Bored office workers everywhere are looking forward to lunch. In fact, they're asking each other: "What do you think, where should we go for lunch?" They check their twitter and facebook feeds to see what their friends are up to, and then, magic happens. They spot your tweet or your facebook status. Their eyes light up, and they start to salivate. "Dude, let's go to Soupy Sales! He's got that awesome white bean chicken chili for lunch. Perfect weather for it. Man, he's on Facebook...we better get there before it's gone!" At 11:30, you start getting busy. At 1 pm, you're completely out of soup, salad, bread, soda, and those cookies you thought might sell well. And, best of all, you've convinced your customers that they should not pass up the opportunity to have lunch with you, because you're just so popular. While this is an admittedly simplified explanation of what social media marketing can do for you, it's definitely food for thought. Whether you sell soup or landscaping services, you need to get in the game and stay in the game with social media marketing. So, find an expert, start a campaign, and watch your business grow faster than you ever thought possible. LinkedIn For Small Businesses Guide How Can It Help | LinkedIn Marketing For Business

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axTZMUT1I2Q LinkedIn For Small Businesses Guide How Can It Help your LinkedIn For Your Business http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/linkedin-for-business/ Need help with your LinkedIn marketing? Call 01689 602 248 today How Can LinkedIn Help Small Businesses? LinkedIn is a social network that is geared toward linking together small businesses. This network -- well over twelve million strong -- provides an opportunity for folks to stay in daily and weekly touch with their current clients, as well as their potential clients (leads). Here is a short list of the ways that you can use LinkedIn to improve your chances at small business success! • As noted, use LinkedIn to stay in touch with people who resonate with your busines. These can be current clients, potential clients, or folks who are interested in your business or have similar or related businesses. • Ask your peers about their vendors. • Trade services. • Use the LinkedIn's Groups directory to search for industry associations and networks. Find out which conventions your peers (and possibly your competition) is attending (or are likely to be planning to attend). Similarly answer questions and show your expertise. • Use Group Answers (pull-down menu in Groups) to see what questions people are asking (and who those people might be!) • Fund Raising: Though you might not actually ask for help raising funds for your venture, just being connected to the right people may provoke them to offer you assistance. • Combine your efforts with other social networking accounts such as Twitter -- or even Facebook (You can actually sync your contacts between LinkedIn and Twitter.). • Provide links to your small business blogs to show your expertise in your area Make sure you abide by the rules that LinkedIn sets for business and small businesses. You want to avoid any association with spamming. Like any other business-related activities, this can all take time. Yes, you have to check in daily and spend time reading other people's blogs and questions and answers. But using them also adds a certain mystique to your corporate image. Do you want to be seen as the conventional, stodgy homegrown business? Or do you want to be seen as an entrepreneur? Finally: Be forewarned: Like other social networks, LinkedIn can become a respite away from business-related business. Be mindful of this and steer clear of the temptation to socialize. Keep community and business functions separate, or better yet, hire a firm to take on some of the most time consuming social media marketing tasks for you. Your time will be your own, and everything that needs attention will be handled immediately. Google Places Local SEO for Small Businesses | Consultants in London Kent Surrey UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EviRmrjb--E Google Places (or Google+ Local) Local SEO for Small Businesses http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/small-business-seo/ Call 01689 602 248 if your business needs help ranking with Google Places (Google+ Local) Google Places: A Great Way to Get Your Business Noticed For Free You know your small business exists. You probably spend a good portion of every day running it! The question is, how can you get people who have never been there before to notice you? Google Places is one great way to do it. Whether you are on a well-travelled corner, or if you're tucked away on a winding country lane, Google Places will inform potential customers about your location, as well as give them information about the products or services you offer. Why Google? While there are other search engines out there, Google is by far the most popular, as well as the most comprehensive of them all. What Is Google Places? Google Places is a free service offered by Google, to help business owners inform consumers about their hours of operation, products and services, special offers, and more. Your business can display photographs and videos on Google Places, and you can communicate with clientele and get important feedback that can help you improve your bottom line. What are Google Places Tags? Google Places offers and additional service that places special tags that look like coupons over your business. Tags are a way to stand out to potential customers, and while they don't improve SEO rank, they do create better perceived value. As of January, 2011, it is free to try Google Places Tags for 30 days, and the service costs a flat rate of $25 per month if you choose to continue using it. Why Google Places Works So Well According to the folks at Google, one in five internet searches are directly related to locations. Since Google places allows business owners the ability to update their offerings in real time, customers can find you and you have the opportunity to create a sense of excitement by adding special coupons just for customers who find you on Google Places. Add Google Places for smartphone users, and you just might see your business improve by leaps and bounds. The bottom line is, your customers and potential new clients are looking for what they want on Google, and if you are there, you are going to be noticed. No one can pass up a great deal, so come up with a promotion, put it up on your Google Places Place Page, and watch the magic happen. Web Design : Five Website Design Mistakes Not To Make | Web Design in London Kent UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHlB8XQKWhk Web Design : Five Website Design Mistakes Not To Make. http://bluesquaremanagement.com/website-design/ Need a new or updated web design? Call us on 01689 602 248 Five Website Design Mistakes Not To Make Website design software is everywhere, and so are website design companies. You can even design your own website for free, if you so desire, on many different site builders. Considering the many options that exist, it's completely understandable that small business owners often feel a sense of confusion when it comes to building a website. While there are many extremely desirable elements to website design, there are also some things you should avoid. Here are five website design mistakes you should be careful never to make. Mistake #5: Using PDF Files Instead of Pages It might be tempting to scan existing documents into pdf format and upload them onto your website. Give visitors a link to click, and up comes your pdf. Easy, right? Wrong! People hate finding pdf's on websites. They take a long time to load, and they can be hard to read. Take the time to create a new page that contains the pertinent information. You can build links and backlinks, add great photos, and make your page a pleasure to visit instead of an irritation. Annoyed visitors leave a site and look for a better one -- so skip the pdf's. Mistake #4: Using Bookish Text People want information fast. They want to scan your site and see whether you have what they are looking for. So: • Do not make your site look like the page of a book. Keep it interesting. • Use photos and vary the text size to highlight different areas of your page. • Use bulleted lists and quick paragraphs with headers that tell the visitor what they're going to find under that heading. • Make your site interactive. The more fun people have when they visit your site, the more successful it will be. Mistake #3: Building A Flashy Site That Is Too Complicated For Users To Navigate You can have the most beautiful looking website in the world, but without elements that are properly built using proven website design techniques, your site will be just more pretty pictures -- and the internet is full of those! People want to go to a site, find what they are looking for, and leave. The better and faster the internet gets, the faster people expect sites to work. Mistake #2: Preventing Smartphone Users From Accessing Your Site This is a relatively new mistake in website design, and if you've got a website now, it's worth looking into. Can people who surf the web on their iPhone, Droid, Blackberry or other smartphone get into your site? Can they find what they're looking for, and navigate well? If not, your site needs first aid. Fast. Mistake #1: Not Hiring A Professional To Handle Website Design You might want to help your buddy who is learning about website design build his portfolio by building you a website, and while that might be OK if he has some experienced guidance, it also might ruin your chances of ending up with a great site that is both user friendly and high ranking. These days, website design is about a lot more than looking good. Hire a professional, and your site will do exactly what you need it to -- gain you business, and increase your bottom line. Local Small Business SEO : Optimize Your Blog for Google | SEO in Bromley London Kent

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29FkJ3Z98Vg Local Small Business SEO : Optimize Your Blog for Google http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/small-business-seo/ Need help with your business website SEO? Call 01689 602 248 Optimize Your Blog For Google: A Guide For New Bloggers Your small business has finally gone online, and you're starting to see some success -- congratulations! Let's take a few minutes to discuss blogging as a tool for marketing your products and services. I have found, in talking to business owners, that there is some confusion about blogs -- what they are, why they exist, and whether or not blogging is beneficial. What Is A Blog? A blog, short for "Web log" is a way to inform the world about what you have to offer. It's usually written in an informal, easy to read format. Many people like to include a shot of humor into their blogs, while others are all about business or promoting special deals. In a nutshell, a blog is a way to get people to notice your company. If it's fun and entertaining to read, or if it contains special information that the customer has not been able to find anywhere else, you're likely to have made a new friend for your business. This being said, you've got to know how to write and use your blogs so that Google notices them and picks them up when people are searching for the product or service you are trying to promote. You can write all day, but if you don't optimize, you're basically wasting your time. Why Is Optimization Important? Optimization gets you noticed. People who are searching for what you have to offer will click on the results that show up at the top of their search -- so you want to place yourself or your business into a position to get those clicks. You want to be noticed! If you don't optimize, your blog won't be helpful. Sure, you may have some customers who know about it follow and comment, but you won't be using it as an effective marketing tool. You'll never be able to attract new business with a blog that is not optimized. Top Optimization Tips • Be specific! Name your location and your service specifically. • Find out what keywords are most often associated with your business, and use them! • Don't be afraid to get help. An experienced SEO team is worth its' weight in gold. Facebook Social Media Marketing For Small Business : How Many Facebook Friends Do You Have?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVpzg1TGCFs Facebook Social Media Marketing For Small Business : How Many Facebook Friends Do You Have? http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/facebook-for-business/ Need help with your Facebook marketing? Call 01689 602 248 today How Many Friends Do You Have? Facebook Builds Loyalty There's a lot of buzz around social media marketing, and for good reason. Let's take a few minutes to look at how facebook builds loyalty. If you're like most people, then you probably have a personal facebook account, where you keep track of your friends and family. You might have located an old high school sweetheart, or found out that your old nemesis from sixth grade is now a preacher in middle America. Whatever the case may be, facebook is a fun way for people to connect. It's also extremely addictive -- and that makes it a super effective marketing tool -- one of the best, least expensive ways to build loyalty. While you might be one of the few folks who does stay off facebook in your personal life, people like you are few and far between. Let's take a closer look at why facebook is such an important part of any social media marketing campaign for small, local business! Build Loyalty With Facebook Have you ever noticed that the more stake you feel you have in something, and the better relationship you feel you have with an entity, the more likely you are to feel loyal toward it? Whether your company offers a certain type of service or a certain product, having a presence on facebook and inviting your customers and potential customers to join will help you build a loyal following. Facebook Accounts Build Themselves Well, not really -- you do have to interact to make the most of facebook. But, as social media marketing goes, facebook is easy. Here's an example: You build a facebook profile with basic information about your business and a few snazzy snapshots. Now you're up on facebook, but you don't have any friends yet. Don't worry -- they'll show up. http://youtu.be/hVpzg1TGCFs Once you've gotten your profile up, it's time to start looking for people you know. Go through your customer list, and look for them on facebook. Invite these people to be friends or fans! Once you have some friends or fans, invite them to participate in a special offer -- let's say you have a coffeehouse: Facebook Friday! Friends and Fans get a latte for $2. Come in and see our new fireplace! You'll be swamped on Friday, and you'll be building brand loyalty through social media marketing. So, take a look at facebook, see what different companies are offering, and come up with your own plan. If you are pressed for time, consider hiring a consultant to help you with this aspect of marketing your business via social media -- you'll be thrilled with the results. Email Marketing For Small Business Owners| Call 01689 602 248 London Kent Surrey UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AedIQ2sYbPc Email Marketing For Small Business Owners http://bluesquaremanagement.com/ This video gives hints and tips on how to use email marketing in your business as part of your overall marketing strategy. Who hasn't been the victim of targeted email marketing, where someone has sold your email address and all of a sudden you're the lucky recipient of things like "Try this little blue pill!" or "Use this credit card -- you can't live without it!" As a small business owner, you certainly don't want to fall into the same category as these unwanted messages do: that category is Spam! On the other hand, you can run an effective email marketing campaign that your customers will enjoy. Let's take a look at what a good email marketing campaign is, and why it works so well for businesses of every size. What Is Email Marketing? Email marketing is a method for telling customers or potential clients about a product, service, or combination of the two, that you have. It's a way to give them insight about what is going on with your business, and it's a great way to build a good working relationship with them. This is particularly true if you have a consumable product or service. The fact is, people have a lot on their minds, and they are constantly barraged with a whole host of messages from every direction. Failing to communicate with your customers puts you at risk of being forgotten. How Does Email Marketing Work? While it is possible for a business owner to send out little reminders to a group of customers on a regular basis, doing it the old fashioned way is not the best use of your valuable time. Here's the best way to do it: 1) Come up with a message, or set of messages. You might run regular sales or service specials, or want to promote a lunch or dinner special for your restaurant on a regular basis. 2) Remember, talk to people like they're your friends, because in the end, they are. Customers can make or break your business, and you want them to love you. Make your message friendly. 3) Take advantage of an email autoresponder. Load your email contacts into the autoresponder, and get your message to your customers. Just like every other aspect of online marketing for small businesses, using email marketing and autoresponders is something that requires a certain amount of finesse. Get together with your online marketing specialist, and create a specialized plan that will work wonders for your business!

Social Media Marketing For Small Business : Do You Need It? | 01689 602 248 London Kent Surrey UK

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjl2UXUlCBo Social Media Marketing : Does Your Business Need It? http://bluesquaremanagement.com/social-media/ This video talks about Social Media Marketing and whether your business. Call us today 01689 602 248 if you need help. You've heard all the buzz, and your curiosity has been piqued. What in the world is social media marketing, and, can your company benefit from it? What is Social Media Marketing? In a nutshell, social media marketing is a form of marketing your business via platforms labeled "social media." Sites like Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, and LinkedIn might be things you have heard of, and you might very well have noticed certain types of businesses using these platforms to create excitement about the products and services they have to offer. Why is Social Media Marketing Successful? Social media marketing at its finest helps businesses to connect with existing clients and potential customers on a whole new level. People find things they like, and they share them with others. As the sharing continues, the businesses that use social media marketing to their advantage see amazing growth, and find that their interactions with their clientele are, overall, much more positive. What Kind of Businesses Should Use Social Media Marketing? Whether you have an apple orchard or a dairy farm, a restaurant or a bike shop, an auto dealership or a nightclub, a midwifery practice or a life insurance company, social media marketing should be part of your overall picture. Simply put, there is no type of business that cannot put social media marketing to work! Let's pretend for a moment that you have an apiary. You and your honey bees spend summers growing flowers and making honey. How can social media marketing work for you? First, you connect with people who are interested in what you have to offer. You don't make them come to you -- you link to them. Linking to other businesses is helpful, so in your case, let's make friends with local restaurants, bakeries, greenhouses, and farmers. They're out there! Now that you are friends with them, you can attract their friends. You're suddenly very popular -- and people want your honey. They find out you sell honey online, and they order it like crazy. Now, you keep the buzz going. Keep putting pictures of your gardens and videos of your bees up on your Facebook page. Make it fascinating. Show your passion, and share your interest in keeping bee populations healthy -- sell honey and related products all at the same time. As you do this, you'll find you've got the kind of clients you want and need - and best of all, you don't need to do much to make this happen. No matter what kind of business you have, get in touch with a social media marketing expert and put them to work. You'll find the rewards are absolutely amazing. Social Video Marketing : An Introduction | Call 01689 602 248 For Video Marketing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGwo19e9XZM Social Video Marketing : An Introduction http://bluesquaremanagement.com/online-video-marketing/ What is social video marketing? On the surface, it's a way to get existing and potential customers to interact with your website. It's an entertaining way for you to get your message across. At best, it's a great way to improve your overall SEO picture. Social video marketing is nothing like those old TV commercials -- instead, it combines gripping image and motivational text or music to make your customers feel they need to do two things: heed your call to action, and share your message with people they feel would appreciate what you have to offer. What Social Video Marketing Is Not Social video marketing is not a standard commercial. A film crew does not come to your place of business and build a highly choreographed visual press release. In fact, most social video marketing for small businesses takes place with the help of a good internet marketing specialist and a few people who have the talent to put a quick, entertaining video together. Quick cameras like the Flip and others like it make the process of producing and editing short films a snap! Social video marketing is not spam. Some businesses make the mistake of being overly forceful, which is something you definitely don't want to do the most effective social video marketing campaigns are those that people actually WANT to watch. What Social Video Marketing Is Putting out a black and white definition of social video marketing is nigh impossible. It's different things to different people. The best social video marketing doesn't really even look like marketing to most consumers, which is precisely why it is so effective. Here are just a few things that define social video marketing: * Social video marketing triggers a psychological response. It creates a need, and a drive to interact. You want your customers to see your videos and think, "Wow! I need to share this!" * Social video marketing uses platforms that are already in place. YouTube and Facebook are two examples of places where effective video campaigns enjoy red hot success. People are always watching, sharing with friends, and taking action. * Social video marketing is all about you and your business. It is original, fresh, and often funny or gripping in some other way. We've just barely covered the tip of the iceberg in this introduction -- find out more by talking with your online marketing specialist. He or she can give you even more specific insight about how to use this incredible tool to make your business more successful than you ever imagined it could be. SEO Tips : How To Build .Edu and .Gov Back Links

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJ59hkQfg-w SEO Tips : How To Build .Edu and .Gov Back Links http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/ Call 01689 602 248 if your business needs help with SEO. .Edu and .Gov backlinks are some of the most prized backlinks among internet marketers. These are backlinks from educational institutions such as universities and government bodies. These two entities have large authority sites , with high page ranks of above 5 and have lots of pages indexed since they have been online for over 10-20 years. Getting a backlink of any kind from these sites is therefore something to go after and help you with your off page SEO in a big way. The different kind of backlinks you can get from .Edu and .gov sites * Blog Comments -- there is usually a comment area on blog posts where members of the public can post their views * Guest Blogging- this is doable for smaller and more local sites such as your college or local government body * Forum Profile and Signature Links- many university sites have forum sites too around a particular topic or field of study. You can join these forums, build a profile and contribute to forum discussions. How to find .Edu and .Gov backlinks 1. You can use certain search operators in the Google search box * To find blogs to comment on, type : Site:.edu inurl:blog "post a comment" Site:.gov inurl:blog "post a comment" * To find forums, type: Inurl:forum.edu Inurl:forum.gov * To find blogs, type Inurl:blog.edu Inurl:blog.gov 2. You can also use other people's websites to find any .edu or .gov websites they are getting backlinks. By reverse engineering your competitors websites, you can uncover a list of sites. If your competitors website is "www.usa.com", then enter the following search operator in the Google search box: Linkdomain.usa.com site:.edu This will list all the .Edu sites that the website has backlinks on. You can sort through the sites looking for high page rank and post your links there too. The same applies for .Gov sites. Just use the following search operator: Linkdomain.usa.com site:.gov Blue Square Management 119 Beaumont Road, Petts Wood Orpington, Kent BR5 1JG United Kingdom Tel: 01689 602 248 info@bluesquaremanagement.com http://bluesquaremanagement.com https://plus.google.com/103916934717232190903/about?hl=en Blue Square Management supplies business throughout London, Kent, Surrey and the UK with SEO services. SEO Tips : How To Build Backlinks From Article Directories

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0vxUFkxWis SEO Tips : How To Build Backlinks From Article Directories. http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/ Need help with your website SEO? Call 01689 602 248 One of the easiest and most commonly used ways to create backlinks to your business website is to submit articles to article directories. Although article directories took a strong hit after the Google Panda update and do not provide powerful backlinks, they are still a helpful source of contextual backlinks. Contextual backlinks are links that are embedded in the text of an article and have more editorial weight and power compared to backlinks located in other areas of a webpage such as the footer or on the sidebar. Examples of Article Directories: * Ezinearticles * ArticleBase * Buzzle * Goarticles * Articlealley * Articledashboard * Isnare * Helium Each article directory has its own rules and regulations so check the directory rules as to where they allow you to place your backlinks. A majority of article directories only allow you to put a backlink the resource box or author bio area at the end of the article. As a small business owner, you can use your expertise and knowledge to create articles related to your keyword. For example, if you run a bakery and your Keyword is "bakery in Tulsa", you can write an article about "The top 10 Sourdough Breads People Love" and then write your resource box as "Looking for a bakery in Tulsa? Susan Andrews runs the Bistro Bakery, an upscale bakery on 43rd Street. She is a graduate of Paloma Culinary School and has been baking since she was 16 years." The keyword "bakery in Tulsa" will be hyperlinked to your main website. You can write your own articles or outsource to a writer. You can also use your original articles that appear on your main website as content for article directory submission. However make sure that the articles are first published on your site and indexed before using them as article directory material. If you don't do this, Google will see the articles on your website as duplicate content and penalize your SEO efforts. Another way to get content for your article directory submission is to spin your articles either manually or using an article spinning software. Spinning simply means rewriting your article using different words. Local SEO For Small Business in London Kent Surrey UK | Call 01689 602 248

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD8lH0f0IVc http://bluesquaremanagement.com/search-engine-optimisation-seo/small-business-seo/ for local SEO fro small businesses throughout London, Kent, Surrey and the UK. Call 01689 602 248 today. Local SEO is highly targeted and timely This simply means that you are making sure that your business' name gets in front of the customers you want, and at a time when they really need it. Keeping with our example of a mortgage broker, no one is going to look for a broker until they need a home loan. So when they search for the keyword "mortgage broker New York City," and you've employed proper local SEO strategies, you'll be one of the first ones they see, at the time they need a mortgage the most. Local SEO has the highest conversion rate of any other kind of advertising Of course, the whole point of any kind of advertising is so that you can reach a large number of people and convert them into customers for your business. And local SEO does this more effectively than any other kind of advertising -- because you're reaching the people who are most likely going to use your business -- the people closest to you. Local SEO allows customers to find you easier when they're on their mobile phones Local SEO doesn't limit itself to just desktop and laptop computers, but mobile phones too. Not only are all of the same local SEO tools used by the same search engines on a mobile browser, but many, many apps are now available that are tailored to local businesses. A person logs into the app and enters their search terms, which will include the category they're looking for ("mortgage brokers") along with a location ("New York City") and your business comes up. These apps are dedicated to local SEO, and that alone should tell you just how important it is! For further information call us at: 01689 602 248 When a potential customer visits your website on their smartphone, what do they see? At the recent Google ThinkMobile presentation, Google reported a 400% increase in the number of searches being carried out on mobile devices, compared to this same time last year. This means that 1 in 5 Google searches is now being carried out on a mobile device or smartphone. And the news is even more alarming for a small business owner like yourself. 1 out of every 3 mobile searches is now local. That is, someone searching for a business or a service provider like you, in their local area. In simple terms, if you DON'T have a mobile optimized version of your website you are throwing away a large chunk of your business and things are only going to get worse. In fact smart phone usage is expected to overtake desktop usage by as soon as 2013. That means the majority of visitors to your website will soon be on a mobile device. The new generation of mobile users are seldom just surfing the web. They are looking for specific information about your business, whether it be your opening hours, your location, phone number or services... and if they can't find what they're looking for, they will go elsewhere. That means your competitors win, and YOU lose. So, what does your website look like on a mobile device? The problem with most standard websites is they are not designed for mobile phones making them hard to read and navigate for mobile users. They take too long to load, key information is not displayed prominently and users need to scroll back and forth and zoom in and out to read all the information. Now let's look at another website and see how they handle their mobile visitors. The difference is huge right? This site has a mobile optimized version they serve up to their mobile users. All information is easily accessible right from the home screen. Customers can call you with just the click of a button. Important details such as directions and opening hours are all easily found. The whole site is designed to automatically resize to fit all the most popular smart phone devices. So users don't need to zoom in or scroll around. But one of the most important factors is the simple design that means the site jumps right up on the screen nice and quickly. This is very important for your customers on the move. So let me ask you this. If you were on a mobile device searching for specific information about a business, which one of these sites would you prefer to use? Well the good news is, creating a mobile optimized version of your website is faster, easier, and less expensive than you think... and we do all the hard work for you. The mobile world will be a huge marketing pie, and you want a slice of that pie as soon as possible. Don't let your competitors pass you by. Think smart. Think smartphone. Think millions of potential customers. So contact us today 01689 602 248 We will put together a sample site so you can see for yourself how a mobile optimized version of your website will truly help your business and your customers. And don't worry. There is no obligation whatsoever. So contact us and request your free sample mobile website right now.
